Field day

Our school had its end-of-the-year field day last Thursday. Here are some pictures of the games we played.
First we played our own version of volleyball. Its like the original game, except with a big, heavy ball that takes four people to serve.

Then we played a game where each team took turns launching water-soaked balls at the opposite team. We were supposed to catch the balls, but no one could catch any because of the sun.

Next we had to play a game where two people from each team would run to a table where there were cups full of water and then suck in as much as you could through a straw and then run to a bucket and spit the water out. I did not enjoy this game. After going through that awful line twice, I came up with the brilliant idea of hiding at the end of the line until the game was over :)

Then we played every one's favorite game, murder ball! Two teams on opposite sides of the field would run to the big ball in the middle of the field and then try to push it to the opposing side. Yes, it's a violent game.

It was a fun day!
