Botanical Gardens

We went to Botanical Gardens to see the Butterfly Garden for the first time. It was so much fun!

Will wanted me to take a picture of him like this. He cracks me up!

Taking a tour on the tram

Quinn and me

Inside the garden...

Before we left, we stopped at the mini water park. Quinn was afraid of the water though.

Another fun day!

The Nutcracker

I decided to audition for the production of The Nutcracker ballet again this year and I made it! I can not even believe it! I have two parts this year, I'm Chinese and a calvary soldier. Oh, I'm so excited!
I am not doing The Nutcracker with Ballet Virginia International, as Krysta and I did last year, instead, I am doing it with the Richmond Ballet at Chrysler Hall.

The performance dates:
Friday, December 4 at 10:30am and 7:00pm
Saturday, December 5, at 2:00pm and 7:00pm
Sunday, December 6, at 2:00pm

I'll make another post when I know when and where to buy tickets.

Dessert at Tiffanee's

This is the cake that Mama got for her birthmonth this year. Isn't it beautiful? A friend from our church made it for us and I think she did a fantastic job!

This butterfly necklace is a replica of the one that Mama wears everyday.

Quinn coud not wait to eat it!

Summer

Since I have so many pictures of our Summer, I've decided to put them all in one post. So first we start with John Coleman's birthday dinner, which he had at Macaroni Grill this year. The rest of them are of him opening his presents at our grandparents house.

Quinn visited my ballet class one day and joined me in stretching before my ballet class began

Quinn also discovered a ninja turtle and pirate costume. She insists that she wears them at the same time.

We took Quinn to the beach again and she was not afraid of the sand or water this time!

These are the little ballerinas from Mama's ballet camp last week.

We had a dress-up tea party on Wednesday. They had so much fun!

Here are two videos from this week's camp. The first one is a combination we learned in ballet.

This is a combination we learned in modern.

Harbor Fest

So our family went to the Harbor Fest today. Here are some pictures I took while we were there.

When we got there, Quinn tried so hard to touch the streamers.

She was so happy once she touched them!

Our Nana and Papa were there with us.

Waiting for the fireworks to begin

This was Quinns first time seeing fireworks. She slept through last year's show!

She was very excited! She kept saying, "Don't get my feet!" and "Go away!"
But by the end of the show she wasn't scared anymore.

We had a great day!
